Things begin to take shape as the floor joists are installed.

Floor Joists are installed

The floor joists are in the process of being installed. The owner takes a little time to enjoy watching the process. While you will be busy with the process of selecting plumbing fixtures and roof tiles, ample time is available to watch the experts at work.

Weather has not been a factor in the schedule so far, but clouds threaten in the background.

At the front door

Support for the front entry

This home has steps up to the entry which is midway between the upper and lower floors. The supports for the entry are being attached to the concrete that was poured with the stemwalls. The structure in the background is a twenty five cubic foot planter. Drainage has been provided from the planter to the exterior of the house. The owners plan to install a waterfall in the planter.

The rough plumbing is installed under the floor joists

Rough plumbing and ducting for the heating/air conditioning system are installed.
