Building a home is an exciting and challenging adventure. Pearce
Construction is dedicated to insuring that each client will be
equipped to meet the challenges while ensuring that the excitement is
kept to the enjoyment of watching your home become a reality. It is
our goal to build you a high quality home, within budget and in a
timely fashion, which satisifys your objectives.
Our process involves consultation with our experts at every step
of the way, at no additional cost to you. Here, Aimee and Sandra
are reviewing a set of plans. Sandra and Aimee help clients with all aspects of
designing the interior. From tile and flooring selection to
fireplace, lighting and Window treatment.
We will be available to
answer your questions, and we will provide a calender showing the
decisions necessary and the time at which those decisions need to be
made. Our system will assist you in every step,
providing our experience in guiding you to "the home of your
dreams."
All of our subcontractors have proven track records. We work only
with licensed and insured companies.
Before you begin, you are invited to review the entire process as
recorded
in the construction of the residence on Sorrell Lane.
Possibly you have already selected a lot. If not, Pearce
Construction can assist in directing you to an area which will be
consistent with your goals. Perhaps you are most interested in the
schools. Possibly finding a site which takes advantage of Reno's
spectactular views is your goal. Our familiarity with the region will
allow you to concentrate on areas most likely to satisfy your interests.
Once you have selected and purchased your lot, the next step is finding an
architect who has designed properties you find actractive. It is quite likely
that you will be able to work with a good architect to develop the home
qualities you desire, but we suggest that you pick someone who has done work
you like. You will find consistency with a good architect.
We suggest that you review some of the designs found on our "Pearce
Construction Homes" site. You should also look at the home pages of the
architects listed by renobuilder.com (A link is provided at the bottom of
this page.)
Designing your home should be an interactive process with your architect
and builder. You will eventually reach a design consistent with
your expectations and your budget. Then the process begins. The plans are
drawn up and reviewed by builder and home owner. Your final approval leads
to engineering and submittal for approval by the city. Building is ready
to commence.
During this period, you will be required to set up your construction loan.

recommend. There are many excellent construction lenders in Reno. Study
the available rates and points. Pearce Construction will be happy to review
any proposals you receive, and make comments.
