BUILDING YOUR HOME

With everything in place, building begins with excavation of the site. Surveying is a prelude to excavation. The position and elevation of the architects design is carefuly laid out and the digging begins.

The actual building process begins with excavation for the foundation. Tim Brown of ATB Enterprises is at work here.

While excavation is underway, you will be working with our plumbing consultant. (Yes, you will be able to take time to watch the excavation process.) The rough plumbing will take place in aproximately two weeks. Your plumbing fixtures will be ordered while the subfloor is being installed.

Before the foundation can be poured, inspection of the compaction process will be verified by an inspector. The foundation must rest on solid soil. Core samples will verify that the excavation process left the site ready for pouring of the foundation footings.
